Dr. Amanda Ledet
Overview
Amanda Ledet is an instructor in the Marketing Department at LSU's E.J. Ourso College of Business and cofounder of Stripes Social, an event-based marketing organization which specializes in aligning businesses with influential brand ambassadors. A dynamic combination of teacher, researcher, and creator; her goals are to share her passion for the field of marketing and make a difference in the lives of those she serves.

As an educator, Dr. Ledet guides students through relevant topics such as sports marketing, consumer motives, social media engagement, and the impact of name, image, and likeness activities on athletes. She teaches graduate-level marketing management and sports marketing/NIL courses and undergraduate courses in principles of marketing, consumer behavior, marketing management, and independent studies in marketing. Her versatile teaching portfolio also includes sales management, services marketing, introduction to business, business communications, human relations, computerized accounting, and personal finance. ​

Recognized for her dedication to students, Dr. Ledet has received the Outstanding Instructor Teaching Award from the E.J. Ourso College of Business as well as the Award for Outstanding Dedication to the Students of LSU from Sigma Phi Epsilon for multiple consecutive years. Furthermore, her research has earned her accolades such as the Steven J. Shaw and Joe Hair Best Paper Conference Winner in 2020 and the Best Paper in the B2B Track for her work on "Communication Alignment in Sales: The Role of Emotional Intelligence."

Amanda is an active member of prominent organizations like Women Leaders in Sports, Sports Marketing Association, Sales and Marketing Executives of Baton Rouge, and the Academy of Marketing Science. With her multifaceted contributions to the world of marketing, Dr. Ledet strives to continuously be a dedicated educator, purposeful researcher, and innovative creator.
